Action for Mental Health, Inc. has been and continues to be successful in accomplishing delivery of consumer empowerment and improving the quality and delivery of mental health services in Erie County.
Through the tireless efforts of the staff at AMH, the Board of Directors and especially because of the involvement of the consumers who assist with each one of our programs and who utilize our services, Action for Mental Health, Inc. is an inspiration for other consumers.
For the courage and ongoing support of those people who allow AMH to be a part of their recovery plan, we applaud you. Because of our dedication, commitment and compassion and our belief that “Recovery is a Reality” AMH continues on the path set forth by our Mission Statement.
Our agency is peer run and through our ongoing connections with providers and other peer agencies, we continue to provide free services to people with mental health issues. Action for Mental Health, Inc. is able to go on with its mission because of funding and support from the Erie County Department of Mental Health and the New York State Office of Mental Health.
